NO DIRECTION HOME Festival has announced their line-up for this year's festival, with Richard Hawley set to headline, along with Andrew Bird; The Low Anthem and Dirty Three. The No Direction Home Festival will take place from the 8th-10th June 2012, at Welbeck Abbey, in Sherwood Forest. The festival was created by the team behind the End of the Road festival, which is usually held at the start of September each year.
It marks the first time that the picturesque setting of Welbeck Abbey has been used as a location for a festival. The main stage will be built by a lake and will have stunning views of the abbey.
The festival will also feature a comedy line-up, featuring the likes of Peep Show's Isy Suttie; Josie Long and Joanna Neary. The full comedy line-up is: Josie Long; Joanna Neary; The Behemoth (John-Luke Roberts and Nadia Kamil); Robin Ince; Thom Tuck; Tom Bell; Simon Munnery; Isy Suttie (Dobby from Peep Show); James Acaster; John Robins; Tony Law; Sarah Bennetto and Storytellers' Club.
Dirty Three will co-headline on Friday 8th with The Low Anthem; Andrew Bird is set to headline on Saturday 9th, with Richard Hawley finishing things off on the Sunday 10th. The complete line-up features Austra; Beth Jeans Houghton; Cold Specks; David Thomas Broughton; Diagrams; Django Django; Gruff Rhys; Lanterns on the Lake; Liz Green; Martin Carthy; Martin Simpson; Moon Duo; Other Lives; Slow Club; Spectrals; The Unthanks with Brighouse & Rastrick Brass band; Veronica Falls and Wet Nuns.
