God's Army Review

Weak
The Mormons got their own movie, which was huge in Salt Lake City, called God's Army. The film is almost exactly what you'd expect: earnest, amateurish, and embarassingly pro-church. While I was impressed that one character repeatedly questions some of the more tenuous tenets of Mormon theology, the film ultimately tells us not to worry about all that, and that if you're Mormon you can even heal the crippled with your prayers. Writer/director Richard Dutcher also stars in the film (alongside a creepy looking Matthew A.
