Richard Attenborough has put his $18.4 million (£11.5 million) London home on the market after deciding it is not "practical" to keep the mansion as he and his wife battle health issues.
The 89-year-old actor/director is wheelchair-bound after a 2008 fall, and it was revealed earlier this year (12) that his wife Sheila Sim is suffering from senile dementia.
Now the couple has put its sprawling home in the U.K. capital's Richmond Green up for sale because both stars require full-time care.
The actor's brother Sir David Attenborough tells Britain's Daily Telegraph, "He and his wife both loved the house, but they now need full-time care. It simply isn't practical to keep the house on any more."
