Reverend and The Makers' front man Jon McClure has been delighting fans all over the country by playing a series of impromptu gigs at their living rooms.
As a thank you to those who pre-ordered the Reverend And The Makers fourth album, entitled 'Thirtytwo', via PledgeMusic', or bought an early bird ticket for the band's UK tour that kicks off next February, Jon decided to give something back.
At around 5pm most nights Jon will tweet and post on Facebook that he's about to set off and then ask people to send their proofs of purchase to him. He then picks a person at random, informs them he's on the way and heads to their home.
He has done house gigs in Burnley, Scunthorpe, Hull, Liverpool, Nottingham, Brentwood, Sheffield, Manchester and Leeds with lots more planned.
It's been the biggest opening week for ticket sales in the history of the band with
70% of the UK tour already sold out. More dates have just been added, as well as a special acoustic performance in London on New Years Eve. Details below.
