Reese Witherspoon found a number of country stars were willing to help her capture JUNE CARTER CASH on the big screen thanks to her father, who is an ear, nose and throat doctor in Tennessee.
The actress asked her dad to contact his famous clients and ask them for their thoughts about the country legend as she prepared to star in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line.
She explains, "When I first got the job... I called my dad, and he helped me out by talking to a lot of his patients who knew her.
"They knew I was his daughter and that I was going to be playing her, so they were really helpful."
