Veteran hellraiser JACK NICHOLSON says he sometimes finds it difficult communicating with his children - to the extent that he bought a book on how to be a model father.
The ABOUT SCHMIDT star - legendary for his womanising and hard-living lifestyle - admits he can find it frustrating when talking to his two pre-teenage children.
The 65-year-old star says, "I've always tried, but I can have a hard time crossing that barrier.
"I ask them, 'What did you do at school today?' and for the most part, they will just answer, 'Not much'.
"I went down to my son's school the other day and there was a book fair, so I immediately bought a copy of HOW TO BE A DAD."
And despite his wild life Jack is content with the past. He says, "I don't have a lot of regrets."
