Rockers Razorlight are rubbing their hands in glee after securing a spectacular pay raise for a festival performance later this summer (07). The band are due to headline England's Reading and Leeds Festivals and demanded more money when they discovered they were the only native act leading the bill. Frontman Johnny Borrell says, "We're the only British band headlining. I think that's f**king great because you can't fluke that. "I said, 'How much money are they going to pay us? Whatever it is, double it.' "I'm no idiot, I was f**king thrilled." Other acts appearing at the August event include Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Smashing Pumpkins.
