EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND star Ray Romano has given one of his Emmy Awards to a baker who regularly sent him treats while he was a struggling comedian. The actor claimed he would never part with his beloved statuette after the show was named Best Comedy Series in 2003, but soon reconsidered. Romano gave the trophy to old friend BOBBY MALLOZZI so he could display it in his upstate New York bakery window. A source tells US publication National Enquirer, "Bobby sponsored Ray when he was doing stand-up at local theaters and clubs. "When Ray hit the big time in Hollywood, Bobby sent him pastries and other goodies in monthly care packages. He still does and Ray never forgot his kindness." Mallozzi adds, "It's a little piece of Hollywood that has made a home in Schenectady (New York)."
