Ray Romano's downtrodden Tv brother is penning a new comedy based on his upcoming biography.
Brad Garrett, who played grumpy cop Robert Barone on U.S. hit Everybody Loves Raymond, has signed a new deal with ABC to write a pilot for When the Balls Drop.
The show will be based on Garrett's book of the same name, which focuses on the struggles of being a middle-aged man and balancing a work and home life.
The new project comes a year after Abc bosses scrapped How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life), in which Garrett co-starred alongside Scrubs star Sarah Chalke.
