Comedians including Ray Romano, Martin Short and Jeff Garlin will pay tribute to late actor Peter Boyle at a fundraising event next month (Nov07). Boyle, who starred in the movies Taxi Driver, Hardcore and The Candidate and played Romano's father in TV show Everybody Loves Raymond, died in 2006 after a battle with bone marrow cancer. Celebrating Peter Boyle: An Evening Of Comedy With Family And Friends takes place at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre + Club in Los Angeles on 10 November and will also feature funnymen Fred Willard and Richard Lewis. All proceeds from the event will go to the International Myelome Foundation's Peter Boyle Memorial Fund.
