Country Music Veteran Randy Travis Made A Surprise Triumphant Return To The Grand Ole Opry On Friday Night (25sep15), More Than Two Years After Suffering A Debilitating Stroke.
The Forever and Ever, Amen singer is still recovering from his 2013 health scare, which left him unable to walk and talk.
He is slowly regaining his abilities and made a rare public appearance at the iconic Nashville music venue to cheer on his friend Tanya Tucker, who performed that night.
Tucker assisted the singer as he briefly took to the stage with a cane, and gave a wave to the audience.
In photos posted on the Grand Ole Opry's Facebook.com page, Travis is also seen backstage sitting in a wheelchair and talking to country singer/songwriter Mel Tillis with a huge smile on his face.
This year (15) has been an eventful one for Travis, as he not only made a surprise appearance at the 50th annual ACM Awards in Dallas, Texas in April (15), but he also married his longtime fiancee Mary Davis in March (15).
