Oscar-winning rappers THREE 6 MAFIA could be making an appearance in Pittsburgh next month (APR06), after a fan who claims he was beaten at one of their concerts launched a lawsuit. Ramone Williams claims he was beaten as the rap group sang LET'S START A RIOT at a 2003 show at a now-defunct nightclub in Pennsylvania. Wiilliams, who was 19 at the time, alleges he was thrown to the floor, hit with a chair, stamped on and kicked in the face, leaving him nursing a fractured jaw. Legal paper claim the club's owners neglected to warn patrons or protect them from violence and should not have permitted an underage customer to enter. Williams' lawyer JAMES E DePASQUALE expects the rappers to answer the subpoenas by the end of April (06). Three 6 Mafia won the Best Original Song Academy Awards earlier this month (05MAR06), for their track IT'S HARD OUT HERE FOR A PIMP featured in HUSTLE + FLOW.
