Ralph Fiennes is happy to reprise his role as arch villain LORD VOLDEMORT in the next Harry Potter movie despite his distaste for the series - because it increases his popularity among his many nephews and nieces.

The actor has slammed the movies in the past and freely admits he didn't read any of Jk Rowling's world-dominating books before taking the role but is thrilled to make his family so happy.

He says, "I have to confess I wasn't very informed about the books before but now I have a lot of nieces and nephews who were very excited and came to visit the set."

Fiennes recently branded the first two films, HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE and HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS, "a little too saccharine and glib, even for Harry Potter fans."
