Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has revealed he has no plans to record a new album with the band.
The rock legends reformed after seven years apart this summer, playing headline slots at the Coachella festival in the US, as well as Reading and Leeds in the UK.
Fans have lived in hope that new material may be on the cards, but Morello said, while there will be more live dates, a new album is unlikely.
However, he told Billboard that he will be soon be heading back into the studio, as he has more than 50 unrecorded songs he wants to work on with THE NIGHTWATCHMEN
"The thing is there's only so many hours in the musical day, and mine are very occupied right now," he said.
He added that THE NIGHTWATCHMEN would be his main musical focus for the rest of his career.
Elsewhere, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE'S 1992 hit Killing In The Name recently angered shoppers in Asda after it was played over the store's speakers.
