Actress Rachel Weisz has laughed off the public perception of her glamorous Hollywood lifestyle, after she was forced to use a hole in the ground as a toilet while filming this year (05).

The British beauty, who lives in New York with director fiance Darren Aronofsky, spent months in Kenya filming The Constant Gardener opposite Ralph Fiennes and quickly learnt to 'rough it' on the sparse location.

She explains, "We lived in tents and the loo (toilet) was a hole in ground.

"When you took a shower, they filled a bucket over your head and you pulled a cord."
