British actress Rachel Weisz has challenged Bond bosses to hire her for the next 007 movie because she "wouldn't say no" to starring opposite her real life husband Daniel Craig.

The Mummy star, who married Craig in New York in 2011, insists she would enjoy acting opposite her partner in the next installment of the superspy franchise following the huge global success of 2012's Skyfall.

However, Weisz would rather play a villain than a typical Bond girl, telling Britain's Esquire magazine, "I'd like to (have a villain role in the next Bond film)! I wouldn't say no. I'm not a snob about entertainment."

Weisz insists she would be good at filming Bond action scenes as she found out her strengths while shooting The Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner, adding, "Apparently, I don't run like a girl - which is a compliment. I was told that by Jeremy Renner. Girls have wider hips so our legs tend to spin out. It's not very good for action movies. You have to get quite boyish girls. So I've learned to run like a man."
