Is Rachel Stevens Set For A Role In 'Eastenders'?

Rachel Stevens

Rachel Stevens has said she’s been in ‘talks’ about a possible ‘Eastenders’ role. Stevens, who is best known for her days as a member of S Club 7, has been a judge on the Irish version of ‘The Voice’ for the show’s past two series, but says she’s keen to get back into acting.

Speaking to The Sun at Disney On Ice's Silver Anniversary Celebration at The SSE Wembley Arena in London earlier this week, Stevens said: ”There’s been talks about EastEnders in the past, which would be really fun to do a cameo role in, or something that would be unexpected or different.”

Rachel Stevens - A host of female celebrities including Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain, BAFTA nominated actress Anne-Marie Duff, pop star Rachel Stevens, musician and radio DJ Cerys Matthews and actress Caroline Quentin have joined forces to pose for a set of powerful portraits raising awareness of the millions of mothers around the world who lose their babies to infections caused by a lack of safe water, in support of WaterAid's Deliver Life appeal. They were joined by designer and entrepreneur Kelly Hoppen MBE, Kelly's daughter and health food blogger Natasha Corrett, Mumsnet co-founder and CEO Justine Roberts, Net-a-Porter Editor-in-Chief Lucy Yeomans, Olympian Sharron Davis who was captured with her daughter Grace, Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry, musician Laura Welsh, and actresses MyAnna Buring, Manjinder Virk and Adele Silva. Tragically, one in five newborn baby deaths are due to infections caused by a lack of safe water and an unclean environment; every single minute a mother loses a newborn baby to these infections. Without basic water and sanitation, it is impossible for hospitals in some of the world's poorest communities to provide a hygienic place to give birth, leaving mothers and newborn babies highly vulnerable to life-threatening infections. The stunning photographs raise awareness of the shocking statistics around these preventable deaths, and urge the public to support the Deliver Life appeal to bring mums, newborns and their families a brighter start and a better future - simply through clean, safe water, proper toilets and better hygiene. Talking about their motivations for supporting the appeal, Nadiya Hussain said: "I'm supporting WaterAid's Deliver Life appeal because I have three children myself and I can't imagine going into a hospital and giving birth where there's no clean water. No mother should have to face that". Anne-Marie Duff added: "As a mum myself, the thought of having to go through labour, to give - London, United Kingdom - Thursday 10th December 2015

Where Has 'The Sexiest Woman Of All Time' Rachel Stevens Been Since 2008?

Rachel Stevens S Club 7

Hot of the heels of Rachel Stevens being crowned FHM’s Sexiest Woman of All Time, there are now rumblings that her old group, S Club 7 are set to follow every other 90s pop band and reunite. But standing in our local newsagents and seeing a scantly clad Rachel staring out at us from the FHM cover made us feel like we’ve travelled back in time, to 2003. Come to think of it, the last time we remember seeing Rachel was on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2008. So where has the ‘sexiest woman of all time’ been for the last six years?

When the S Club party finally ended in 2003, their most famous member, Rachel Stevens unsurprisingly began a solo career thanks to a £1.5 million record deal. Rachel enjoyed steady chart success, particularly in the summer time when songs like ‘Sweet Dreams My LA Ex’ and ‘More More More’ could be worked into our holiday playlist. In 2005 her second album Come and Get It was met with critical acclaim, even managing an inclusion in The Guardians ‘1,000 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die’ list. But, despite the critical praise, the album failed to sell.

Mike Skinner Reveals That Rachel Stevens Was Not His 'Drug-Taking Lover'

The Streets Rachel Stevens

Mike Skinner, the British rapper and member of UK hip-hop band The Streets, has finally revealed that the drug-taking pop star he once dated was not the speculated singer Rachel Stevens. The squeaky-clean S Club 7 singer has had a somewhat tarnished name since 2006, when Skinner sang about a crack cocaine-smoking singer - originally thought to be Stevens.
