Rachel Hunter

New Zealand supermodel Rachel Hunter has been at the forefront of the beauty industry all her life, but now aged 46, she's determined to find new meanings in the word 'beauty' as part of a new show entitled 'Rachel Hunter's Tour of Beauty' - and she continues to avoid the lure of plastic surgery unlike so many of her peers.

Being a fashion model has meant that Hunter has had the opportunity to travel all over the world, modelling for magazines in the Netherlands, Australia, the US, the UK and Italy, but now she's looking at a less Westernised classification of beauty in countries such as Fiji, Morocco and Greece, and it's doing her the world of good.

Pendulum Review

Terrible
Pendulum got me thinking: Has there ever been a worse-cast choice to play a cop than former supermodel Rachel Hunter? I thought and I thought -- Pamela Anderson on V.I.P. came to mind, but she's a bodyguard, not a cop.

In the end, I had to admit it: Rachel Hunter is the worst movie cop of all time. And what's the point of hiring a supermodel if you're going to give her an enormous facial abrasion to wear through the entire film? It's distracting, it's ugly... and oddly, it's the most interesting thing to consider in this film.

Two Shades Of Blue Review

Terrible
Good lord, a more wretched film couldn't be made if you set out to do it. This contrived, late-night Cinemax affair takes a blackmail plot, a murder plot, another murder plot, an insurance scandal -- and tries to tie it all together with the TDD phone service for the deaf as a plot device. Of course it stars Marlee Matlin -- and my, how far you have fallen, Marlee -- in her worst role ever. Busey and Roberts couldn't be hammier. And worst of all is Rachel Hunter, unintentionally made up to look like a drag queen, I kid you not. As a final insult, I'm pretty sure the titular Two Shades of Blue refer to her panties. Pap.

Just A Little Harmless Sex Review

Weak
In the grand tradition of fine, adult fare like Body Shots comes this unforgettable Jonathan Silverman vehicle featuring a man (and his two friends) who "accidentally" cheats on his wife (and her two friends)... and the one night none of them will forget! Wow, I should go into promo copywriting. Anyway, this embarrassing bit of fluff is essentially harmless yet overwhelmingly forgettable, with the possible exception of Kimberly Williams' drunken strip tease wherein she loses only her shirt. Talk about phony advertising....

Rock Star Review

OK

Mark Wahlberg couldn't be more perfect for the role of Chris Cole, "Rock Star's" head-bangin' hair band wannabe whose singular ambition in life is to be e-x-a-c-t-l-y like the shirtless, leather-clad, pelvis-thrusting, high note-shrieking lead singer of the heavy metal band Steel Dragon.

He looks absolutely vintage, sporting metalhead tresses and screwing up his face in imitation sneers. He revels in Cole's absurdly passionate perfectionism in fronting a Steel Dragon "tribute band" and embraces Cole's humorously inconsequential real life as an on-call Xerox technician who still lives with his parents.

He belts out the tunes of the fictitious Steel Dragon with amazing range and the earnestness of an insanely zealous fan -- so much so that while in the front row at a Steel Dragon concert he rather unnerves his hero by loudly singing along with more gusto than the man himself can muster.
