Music legend Quincy Jones has followed in the footsteps of rocker Bono by signing up to write a newspaper column.
U2 frontman Bono recently agreed to air his views with an opinion column in the New York Times.
And now Grammy Award-winning producer and composer Jones - who has worked with musical greats such as Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra and Donna Summer - has penned a similar guest article for U.S. syndication Tribune Newspapers.
Jones' column on Monday (19Jan09) offered his perspective on U.S. President-elect Barack Obama, as his inauguration day closed in.
