Music mogul Quincy Jones has been honoured by Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The producer, 73, is the first recipient of the Mentor Of The Year title, given by the university's School of Public Health.
JAY WINSTEN, associate dean of the school, says, "Quincy Jones' entire life is a testament to the power of mentoring.
"He has served as a role model for using the power of celebrity to improve the lot of humankind."
Jones will pick up at award next month (JAN07).
