Justin Bieber

Bieber Banged Up For Druggy Drag Racing: Justin Bieber has just had the mother of all terrible fortnights. The recalcitrant popstar was under investigation for a vicious egg attack on his neighbor's home by police who discovered drugs upon raiding Bieber's abode. The 'Baby' singer headed snowboarding with his equally rebellious chums with the threat of deportment looming. The singer was then arrested yesterday for DUI and drag racing in Miami.

Bieber showed what a true hard-ass he really was when police stopped him and he immediately snitched on himself, saying he was drunk and high on weed and prescription medication. The 19 year-old was released from a Miami jail an hour after a Miami judge, set a "standard" $2,500 bond Thursday afternoon. The widely-circulated mugshot shows the fallen star grinning ear-to-ear in his orange prison v-neck, prompting Seth Rogen to brand him "a piece of s**t."

'Gravity' & '12 Years A Slave' In Surprise PGAs Tie: Last weekend's Producers Guild Awards brought the rare revelation that two movies had tied for the top prize. That's right, you guessed it: the guild were unable to decide between Gravity and 12 Years A Slave meaning both films had to share the Daryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, forcing a never before seen tie. Though the filmmakers were the focus at the PGAs, the stars were out in force too with 12 Years' Lupita Nyong'o in particular proving an irresistible magnet for peer praise. Shia LaBeouf Not Crazy After All: Actor Shia LaBeouf has pulled a "Joaquin Phoenix," after explaining that his bizarre behaviour of late, which included plagiarism, sky-writing, and weird tweets, was all part of his new "meta-modernist performance art" project. The Transformers star has apparently teamed up with artist Luke Turner, screenwriter David Ayer, and poet Kenneth Goldsmith to explore "plagiarism in the digital age" and start "a broad cultural discussion." We're serious: read all about it here.

Daft Punk

A Rock-Tastic Grammy Awards Finale: Forget Coachella or Glastonbury, there's only one major music event worth going to this year and unfortunately, most of us are unlikely to be invited. We thought the 2014 Grammys had outdone itself with the announcement that Daft Punk and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis would be playing but that was until they announced that the cream of American alt-rock, Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham would be playing at the finale. Then there's the rumor of Madonna AND Beyoncé too...looks like we'll be trying to sneak in through the laundry trolley!

'Ride Along' Accelerates To Top Box Office: Ice Cube and Kevin Hart's new cop comedy Ride Along has sped to the top of the box office over the weekend, breaking Martin Luther King day records with $41.2 (£25.1) million raked in worldwide, seeing off the likes of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Frozen and Wolf of Wall Street. Watch the trailer here. With a success attributed to the movie's couples appeal, Ride Along has accomplished the impressive task of holding back Disney's Frozen, which dominated the charts for week on end.

Three Wonder Woman Movies: Not long after the Israeli former soldier and model Gal Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman Vs. Superman, the news has hit that Gadot has signed for three appearances as the iconic superhero. Comic book fans are driving themselves crazy trying to work out whether this will mean a Justice League appearance and a standalone film for Gadot or if it's just DC Comics and Warner Bros. making an iron-clad insurance policy. Decide for yourself here. Either way, Gadot will receive $300,000 for every movie, beginning with Batman Vs. Superman, which has been pushed back to 2016.

Quentin Tarantino Scraps Script In Rage: Director Quentin Tarantino has said that he has shelved his latest script, Hateful Eight, after it leaked. The Kill Bill filmmaker said that despite having only given his western to a handful of people, word had somehow got out. Tarantino said that his money's on Bruce Dern for betrayal whilst excerpts from the script have shown that the 70MM-shot film could have been one of his best yet. Read more here.
