Rockers Queens Of The Stone Age had a special guest join them in the studio this week (ends23JUL04) when ZZ TOP star BILLY GIBBONS strolled in unannounced.

The bearded guitarist spent five hours with the group in a studio in Los Angeles, and the group are hoping to use some of his licks on their follow-up to hit 2002 album SONGS FOR THE DEAF.

Gibbons says, "They're definitely some dedication fashioners of tone and taste and, clearly, no strangers to those bluesy wee hours. That's when it's the most rockin' and those guys seem to be always ready to rock."
