LATEST: The production company responsible for footage showing British monarch Queen Elizabeth II allegedly storming out of a photo shoot has admitted the series of events were manipulated. The BBC was forced to apologise to the Queen last week (ends13Jul07) after it emerged the "misleading" film actually showed the monarch walking into the shoot with acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz. The documentary, A Year With The Queen, showed clips of the monarch telling her lady-in-waiting, "I'm not changing anything. I've had enough dressing like this, thank you very much." But David Frank, chief executive of RDF Media, has condemned the footage and apologised to the BBC. In a statement, Frank writes, "While there was clearly no attempt to include anything misleading, I nonetheless condemn what was done by RDF employees in manipulating the chronology of any footage." The documentary will air on the BBC later this year (07).
