British royal Queen Elizabeth II has demonstrated her approval of Prince CHARLES' forthcoming wedding to Camilla Parker Bowles, by permitting her future daughter-in-law to have her own official coat of arms.

The monarch fuelled speculation she is unhappy about her son's romance with Parker Bowles by refusing to attend their nuptials next month (08APR05) at the Windsor Guildhall, England.

But the Queen has quashed the rumours, by enrolling royal crest experts to design Parker Bowles a coat of arms based on the crest worn by her father, Major BRUCE SHAND.

Parker Bowles will be able to use her regal signature, expected to be completed within six months, on personal possessions including cars and flags.

Charles' spokesperson says, "Camilla is getting her coat of arms and it will be based on the crest worn by her father.

"Every person who joins the royal family is given this to mark the event."
