Editors at The Athens Voice publication insist the installation artist is the Greek with "a thirst for knowledge" who "studied sculpture at St. Martin's College" as per Pulp star Jarvis Cocker's lyrics in the 1995 hit, and now her husband has chimed in with his thoughts about the big reveal.

Varoufakis says, "Well, I wouldn't have known her back then, but I do know that she was the only Greek student of sculpture at St. Martin's College at that time. And, from personal experience, she is a very fascinating person."

Stratou studied at St. Martin's between 1983 and 1988.

Cocker has never outed his muse, but has admitted the song was based on a real encounter with a rich girl who wanted to move to the London borough of Hackney and live like a commoner.
