British dance stars THE Prodigy have stormed to the top of the British album chart with their first new album in seven years.

ALWAYS OUTNUMBERED, NEVER OUTGUNNED went straight in at number one today (29AUG04) after its first week of release.

Meanwhile, the top two spots in the single chart remain the same, with Natasha Bedingfield's THESE WORDS holding off 3 OF A KIND'S BABYCAKES for a second week running - as well as strong challenges from new entries MAROON 5's SHE WILL BE LOVED and 411's DUMB.
