Prince's legendary PAISLEY PARK STUDIOS in Minnesota has reopened for business.
Paisley Park has largely been closed since 1996, though Purple Rain rocker Prince continued to record and perform there.
A reception marking the studio's reopening on Thursday (12AUG04) was attended by members of the local film, music and advertising communities.
Paisley Park has newly digitalised and upgraded recording and editing rooms available for musicians to rent.
The complex, which opened in 1987, has provided such stars as REM and George Benson with recording facilities, while Barry Manilow, the Bee Gees and STEVE MILLER have used the studios for concert tour rehearsals.16/08/2004 08:48
