Prince is to planning to mark his upcoming 49th birthday with a seven-week residency at Hollywood party palace the Roosevelt Hotel.
The pop superstar, who dazzled Las Vegas with a string of regular shows late last year (06), is hoping to perform for stars, VIPs and fans for seven consecutive Friday nights starting on 15 June (07).
The residency is subject to contracts being signed, according to newspaper the Los Angeles Times.
The midnight shows will be held in the Roosevelt's intimate Blossom Room, where Prince will perform for just 350 guests.
After the weekly shows, Prince's personal chef Lena Morgan will take over the Roosevelt's Dakota restaurant to host an after - hours dinner club.
The concert/restaurant concept is similar to 3121 nightclub Prince created at the Rio hotel + casino in December for his residency there.
The busy star, who turns 49 next month (Jun07), last week announced plans for a concert series this summer in the Hamptons, and two weeks ago, he released details of a 21-date summer residency at London's 02 Arena.
