British royal Prince William has agreed to join his brother Prince Harry at the British Army's Sandhurst Royal Military Academy.

Prince William, the heir to the throne, will enrol in January next year (06) after he's completed his degree at St Andrews University, Scotland - when Prince Harry will be beginning his third term of the one-year course.

Harry has recently courted controversy by injuring a photographer and wearing a Nazi soldier uniform to a pal's fancy dress party, so the royal family reportedly hope William's presence will help his younger brother adjust to strict army life.

A source says, "Life is about to get much more serious for both boys. It should be easier for them to go through it together."
