British royal Prince Harry was left smitten by Sir Paul McCartney's daughter Mary - at the tender age of eight.
The young prince was visiting the ex-Beatle's recording studio with his mother, the late Diana, Princess of Wales, and his brother William back in 1992, when he caught sight of MCCartney's photographer offspring, who was 24 at the time.
Sir Paul recalls, "Diana came in with her two lads. We were rehearsing, we were asked to have lunch with her. Like a lot of people I think she was great, a real nice lady.
"What I do remember is I was sitting next to Harry, my daughter Mary came in and sat down and Harry said, 'Who's that?'
"I said, 'That's my daughter Mary,' and he said, 'She's awfully attractive, isn't she?'"
