British royal Prince Charles' wife CAMILLA, Duchess of Cornwall will remain excluded from British state prayers.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the decision which makes the Duchess the only member of the family to be omitted - but refuted allegations it was a snub.

State prayers, said every Sunday at churches throughout the UK, include blessings for every other major member of the royal clan.

A Palace spokesman tells British newspaper the Sunday People, "There are no plans to amend State prayers to include the Duchess of Cornwall."
