Twenty years after the band's debut in 1987, Primal Scream return with their new single 'Country Girl' on May 22nd - the first track from the eagerly anticipated album 'Riot City Blues', released June 5th.
Written by Primal Scream, 'Country Girl' is undoubtedly one of the standout tracks from the forthcoming LP. The band's first single since 2003's 'Some Velvet Morning'. The track also boasts a very impressive new video, which was filmed in L.A by acclaimed director Jonas Akerlund - whose previous credits include Madonna's 'Ray Of Light'.
Recorded in 10 days last June, the new album was laid down live on the studio floor at Olympic Studios in London by Bobby Gillespie (vocals), Andrew Innes (guitars, banjo & mandolin), Martin Duffy (piano), harmonium, Hammond b-3 organ & harmonica) Gary (Mani) Mounfield (bass) and Robert Young (guitars & harmonica).

The first single from Interpol's eagerly anticipated sixth studio album 'The Rover' has dropped alongside a video.
'Jumpsuit' is just one of two singles, including 'Nico and the Niners', released ahead of Twenty One Pilots' latest album 'Trench'.
