Wild Smiles only signed to Sunday Best in April, but are already causing up a stir and getting attention from all the right places. With their first single Fool For You receiving praise and radio plays from Lauren Laverne, Radcliffe and Maconie and Steve Lamacq on 6 Music, as well as Jon Kennedy on Xfm and Gary Crowley over on Amazing Radio.
To celebrate the last few months, the band will headlining a very special show at the Sebright Arms, East London.
Wild Smiles will release their new single, Fool For You, on June 2nd. The fast rising Winchester trio have just signed to Rob da Bank's Sunday Best Recordings and in a separate publishing deal with Sunday Best / Domino Publishing Co that sees the two publishers come together in a joint venture for the first time, and Fool For You is the first fruit of their labours.
Wild Smiles' previous live shows have included, variously, an NME Awards date with Superfood, a UK tour with Drenge, and a Paris show at David Lynch's Club Silencio, and the band will now branch out on their own for a series of dates throughout April and May, as follows:
Wild Smiles are currently working on their debut album, which is expected later this year.
