We Are Augustines Announce October 2012 UK Tour

Following the success of the band's sold out UK tour in May and the critically acclaimed album 'Rise Ye Sunken Ships', Brooklyn's We Are Augustines announce today that they will return for a full UK tour in October this year.

After speedily earning a reputation as a triumphant live act, We Are Augustines have scored highly coveted spots on the 2012 lineups of Coachella, Bonnaroo, Hurricane and Southside, Latitude, Bilbao BBK Live, Reading and Leeds, and T in the Park.

Talking about the work that goes into their ever-growing live performances, bass player Eric Sanderson says: "It's important to us that our shows are very celebratory and that the audience feels like they're part of what we're doing-that we're all in this room together, creating a memory. We want people to have a cathartic experience-but still dance all night long, and walk away smiling."

And that is exactly what to expect in October when the band return to finish an incredible year to play their final shows in the UK before taking time out to think about recording their second full length album.
