Tourist is pleased to share some new material today in the form of 'Wait'. His last offering was the brilliant 'Patterns' EP, which featured two killer tracks - 'I Can't Keep Up' featuring Will Heard and the title trick, 'Patterns' featuring Lianne La Havas - was released in spring 2014 on Method Records. Since then, Will has signed to Polydor Records, spent the summer on the festival circuit perfecting his live show and writing and recording new music for his debut album due next year. Watch out for news on Tourist's new single for 2015 coming soon.
The 'Patterns' EP saw Tourist delve a little deeper into the realms of pop by developing his understanding of his role as producer by working with vocalists for the first time. 'Wait' leans more towards Tourist's earlier production style and sound, as he continues to expand his impressive and forward thinking arsenal of music.
On the live front, November & December sees Tourist head out on the road as part of the 'Annie Mac Presents' tour alongside Lxury and Monki et al. Hitting all the major UK cities, the tour reaches London's Brixton Academy on the 13th December. See full listings below.
