The Strypes Announce New Summer UK 2013 Tour Dates

Having already earned a reputation as one of the most exciting new bands around thanks to a hard-working ethos and a phenomenal live show, and with huge excitement surrounding their new single 'Blue Collar Jane', The Strypes are pleased to announce a new set of UK tour dates.

It was the band's days of gigging around Ireland that first got them noticed, and it's obvious to anyone that's witnessed them live why there is currently such excitement surrounding them. With the initial set of dates already sold-out due to overwhelming demand, The Strypes will be heading back out on the road later this summer for a string of shows that will take their raw, incendiary interpretations of rhythm and blues to an even wider audience.

The Strypes drew plaudits from all quarters following their electrifying performance on Later With Jools Holland recently, and look set to take this summer's live circuit by storm. The new set of dates kicks off in Bristol on June 20th, before they head to London for a special double-header at the Islington O2 Academy, playing an under 18s only matinee show followed by an evening show. They then visit several other cities, ending in Cardiff on August 22nd.

Tickets for these dates go on pre-sale at 9am on Wednesday 1st May and general sale at 9am on Friday 3rd May.
