The Proclaimers Music To Feature In New Motion Picture
Sunshine Leith, a new film based on the hugely successful stage musical of the same name has begun shooting in Glasgow and Edinburgh. This universally appealing contemporary musical is set in Scotland and imaginatively features the legendary music of The Proclaimers to tell a moving and uplifting story.
SUNSHINE ON LEITH stars Peter Mullan (War Horse, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1) and Jane Horrocks (Little Voice), George McKay (Defiance, The Boys are Back), Kevin Guthrie, Antonia Thomas ('Misfits') and Freya Mavor ('Skins').
This universally appealing contemporary musical is set in Scotland and imaginatively features the legendary music of The Proclaimers to tell a moving and uplifting story.
Written and adapted by Stephen Greenhorn from his hugely successful and critically acclaimed stage musical of the same name, SUNSHINE ON LEITH is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Wild Bill) and produced by Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich from DNA, and Arabella Page Croft and Kieran Parker from Black Camel Pictures.
