The Luka State are Conrad Ellis (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Sam Bell (Bass) and Jess Whitmore (Drums) and they release their debut single 'Matter of Time' via Project Records on 2nd December 2013.
'Matter of Time' is an energetic and powerful guitar-driven piece of indie-rock, which gives a respectful and nostalgic nod back to the gritty Brit Pop of the 90s. The track's epic production is down to Sam Williams, who has worked with the likes ofSupergrass, Plan B, The Go! Team and The Noisettes.
The Luka State cite "All types of Rock n Roll' as their inspiration "from Thin Lizzy right through to The Jam and then on to Kasabian".
Although the band formed just under a year ago, all the members have been playing in bands since the tender age of 12 and have already toured North America this year.
A full UK tour is also planned for this year, kicking off in London on October 29th atThe Notting Hill Arts Club.
