The Jezabels On UK November 2013 Tour With Depeche Mode

Australian four piece The Jezabels, purveyors of unique pop noir are emerging from recording their forthcoming second album (due 2014, details to be announced) here in the UK with producer Dan Grech Marguerat (Lana Del Ray, The Vaccines, Keane).

The band were perhaps in the most unique of positions after the phenomenal success of their self released trio of opening EP's; their debut album Prisoner smashed into the Australian charts at number 2 and won the band accolades not just at home but around the world too, triggering a global tour schedule and sell out performances in all four corners of the planet.

Now at the tail end of 2013 The Jezabels are ready to start once more with The End, a brand new single out on Play It Again Sam on Monday 2nd December 2013.

The End is a huge and swaggeringly confident opener for the upcoming sophomore long player.  So much more than the sum of its parts; The Jezabels untie soaring vocals with brooding intensity. The guitar deploys emotive riffs combining with swooping jolts of bright electric piano, underpinned with subtle yet omnipresent drumming.

The End is a magnificent statement of intent, stamped with The Jezabels innate confidence and stadium rock ambition.  This morning, the song received a simultaneous Australian / UK radio premiere with a partnership between the two countries' most iconic rock stations Triple J in Oz and BBC 6Music, here in the UK.

Before returning to full scale touring in 2014 The Jezabels will be performing the live, at The Scala, London on Tuesday 12th November 2013. The gig sold out almost immediately.

Straddling this show The Jezabels are hugely honoured, to have been invited to play support to legends Depeche Mode on their 2013 UK tour.

Tour dates:

Mon 11th Nov - Glasgow, Hydro (with Depeche Mode)
Tues 12th Nov - London, Scala (Headline show) SOLD OUT
