Fast-rising Nottingham singer-songwriter Indiana unveils today via UKF the latest remix for her new single 'Solo Dancing', released April 20th on Sony, by veteran UK house producer and DJ Chris Lake, for a driving, hands-in-the-air electro house take on the tune.
Indiana recently headlined new London venue Oslo to a sold out room, giving a powerhouse performance that was described by Clash as "brokered by James Blake, popularized by The xx, then governed by a community of new artists such as London Grammar (.) this dense tangle of synthy pads, digital drums and ephemeral bass is the perfect bed from which her solid voice can twist into our ears"
Indiana will be supporting the new single with an eight-date UK tour in March-April as the main support to Bipolar Sunshine (tour dates below).
'Solo Dancing' comes off the back of a stream of successful singles including 'Mess Around', 'Bound', 'Animal' and 'Smoking Gun' which together have garnered over a million views on YouTube, enjoyed wide support from BBC Radio 1 and sent ripples of excitement across the blogosphere.
With its evocative and intelligent dance-savvy pop, clear aim and deft execution, 'Solo Dancing' further establishes Indiana as one of the UK's most exciting new voices.
