Spotify At Sxsw 2013 - Announcement On Spotify House And Spotify Live

The Spotify House is back with the best new music + Kendrick Lamar will headline Spotify Live along with Cazzette, Youngblood Hawke and DJ Hesta Prynn

We're coming back to Austin for SXSW with the best new music on the planet.  Every day from March 11-15 artists will be performing at 1100 East Cesar Chavez Street in an intimate setting that will take music fans away from the insanity of the daily SXSW grind. 

Then on Wednesday, March 13 at 7pm CST we will present Spotify Live featuring Kendrick Lamar, Cazzette, Youngblood Hawke and DJ Hesta Prynn.  This is a free, ticketed show that fans can RSVP for at www.sxspotify.com.  Spotify and McDonald's are partnering to deliver a live stream of the event to fans at home through our exclusive media partner, Billboard.

Spotify Live will also feature a multimedia installation created specifically for the event by Obscura Digital, a global leader in creative vision and technology.  The installation will transport audiences to another dimension of music by creating an immersive experience that amplifies the live performances with a real-time audio-reactive music visualization system.  The 7,500 ft warehouse space will become a teleporter, taking people on an optical journey from the streets of Austin into the future of musical expression.
