Snow Ghosts, the duo of producer Throwing Snow (Ross Tones) and vocalist Augustus Snow (Hannah Cartwright) have announced their first full-length gig, having performed individual tracks as a duo at the Houndstooth launch parties at Boiler Room and fabric, as well as acoustically alongside string players on BBC Radio 2.
Taking place on Thursday 5th September, the gig will see the duo accompanied by the aforementioned string duet in the most complete Snow Ghosts live show to date. The venue is the appropriately intimate and unique St Pancras Old Church in London.
Crafted from a shared interest of the odd folk nature of Britain and the resultant dark strangeness, Throwing Snow and Augustus Ghost pool their individual inspirations, ideas and styles on 'A Small Murmuration', the first full-length album under their collaborative Snow Ghosts moniker. The music is brooding and at times imposing, yet sweepingly majestic throughout - Augustus Ghost's rich vocals balance perfectly on Throwing Snow's somber sonic creations, as hints of industry and mechanism are married with the organic, natural world.
The actor had an important goal after Paul Walker's death.
Trump's unexpected presidential election victory has caused U2 to re-think a number of their songs for their upcoming 14th album, they say.
