Following the National Anthem release of his Young Blood EP, which hit number 3 on iTunes in January, Saint Raymond is back with the release of his new Ghosts EP out through Asylum Records on May 12th.
Lead track and fan favourite 'Everything She Wants' got its premiere on BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe show where it was his 'Hottest Record'. Zane said of Saint Raymond "Now I get it! You are the latest in a long line of this wonderful lineage of classic British singer songwriters with that kind of street edge". Fans can revel in the breadth of writing across the four track EP which includes the songs 'Everything She Wants', the instant grat 'Brighter Days', and the cover of The Jam's 'English Rose' (Live from BBC Maida Vale Studios) alongside title track 'Ghosts'.
Saint Raymond, aka 18 year old Nottingham-born Callum Burrows, commented, "I wrote 'Everything She Wants' almost 2 years ago now and have always enjoyed playing it live. From the first time I played it to an audience I knew the song really connected with people. It's a perfect introduction to what my music is all about. ''
Callum jumped into his second UK headline tour last week with his four piece band playing in Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester and Oxford before coming to London this week for a sold out show at the Borderline on March 26th. He'll also be playing Birmingham, a sold out show at Nottingham's Rescue Rooms and concludes with Southampton and Norwich. For those unable to catch Callum at the Borderline, he has just announced a headline show at London's Scala, which will take place on May 14. Tickets are on sale now here.
A few weeks back, Saint Raymond was personally invited to support HAIM on their dates in Norwich and Nottingham following his stint as their main support on their 2013 UK and European tour. Most recently he performed at KOKO's Club NME, where he received a glowing 4* review from The Times.
