Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage Gets Additional Screenings. Fans Have Extra Chances To See Tribeca Award-winning Documentary

The success of the one-night-only screenings of the documentary Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage has led to several sites re-booking the film for follow on screenings, giving fans an extra chance to see the film on the big screen, in pristine digital cinema quality and with incredible 5.1 sound.

The film screened in around 60 sites across Europe on the evening of June 7th, and additional screenings have so far been booked in Liverpool (Odeon Liverpool ONE, June 14th); London (Empire

Leicester Square, June 11th-16th; and Odeon Covent Garden, June 14th) and Dundee (Dundee Contemporary Arts, July 13th). The film will also receive a one-night-only theatrical release in

cinemas across Brazil on June 17th. Full listings for all cinema screenings can be found at the official website.

The documentary, directed by Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn of Banger Films - the team behind last year’s award-winning hit Iron Maiden: Flight 666 and 2005’s Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey – won the Audience Award at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, and the UK theatrical release has seen sellout audiences across the country. Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage is brought to cinemas by Arts Alliance Media, in association with Classic Rock magazine, Universal Music Group, the world’s leading music company, and Banger Films.

Critics have called the film “wonderfully engaging and genuinely interesting” (The Guardian); “an absolute joy...full of heart” (Planet Rock); “endearing” (Variety); and said it offers “appeal beyond the band’s hardened fan base” (Time Out).

RUSH is one of rock’s biggest-selling bands, ranking third for most consecutive gold or platinum studio albums after The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. The film features some of the world’s

biggest rock stars talking about their love of RUSH and the huge influence they have had on their careers , including Metallica’s Kirk Hamnett, KISS’ Gene Simmons, Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan and Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor.
