Rudimental Announce UK October 2013 Tour

Shortly before they embark on their first UK headline tour later this month, London-based quartet Rudimental have announced details of an autumn headline tour, which will include a date at London's prestigious Brixton Academy.

The run of dates kick off at Leeds' O2 Academy on October 8, following with shows in Newcastle, Bristol, Bournemouth and Birmingham, before finishing up at London's Brixton Academy on October 18.

The band's new single 'Waiting All Night ft. Ella Eyre' - currently playlisted on Radio 1, 1 Xtra, Kiss, Capital FM and Choice - will release next week (April 14). Check out the new video here - another incredible addition to their award-winning collection of music videos, which between them have seen Rudimental's official YouTube channel receive an impressive 30 million views.

The collectives' debut album - Home - releases on April 29. Alongside new single Waiting All Night, the LP includes the uplifting anthem 'Not Giving In, Hell Could Freeze, Spoons, and the #1 single 'Feel The Love'.

Having earned a reputation for incredible live shows at sold out one-off gigs, support slots and festivals, the band will embark on their first UK headline tour later this month, bringing their carnival-esque live show - complete with extended Rudimental family of players and vocalists - to the masses. Their tour kicks off in Glasgow on April 23, following with shows in Liverpool, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford and Norwich, taking in London's Electric in Brixton on May 2.  The headline tour follows their recent slot supporting label-mate Plan B on his sell out arena tour, and Australia's Future Music tour (alongside Stone Roses & Prodigy), and a US tour taking in SXSW and main-stage slot at Miami's Ultra Festival.

With a melting pot of influences stamped firmly across the brilliant and adventurous forthcoming album - soulful songs, live instrumentation and massive club tunes - the tour will showcase a wealth of new material and deliver the hits, including one of 2012's biggest hits - the Brit Nominated "Feel The Love."

Winning critical acclaim alongside rapturous responses from live crowds, Rudimental are a collective with strong musical heart (in the shape of Piers Aggett, Amir Amor, Kesi Dryden and Leon Rolle) who, like Soul II Soul, Massive Attack or Basement Jaxx before have come together to strike musical gold with a unique identity: sound- clashing live instruments, beats and soulful voices.
