Red Bull Sound Select Celebrates Local Music At Lollapalooza August 1st - 4th

Red Bull Sound Select expanded into five more of the nation's most influential music cities in July. To celebrate, a special series of free "Red Bull Sound Select Presents" showcases were hosted July 26-28 in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, Minneapolis and Seattle. The ongoing program supports local music scenes and the people who push them forward, and rewards fans for engaging and interacting with the local music scene.

This weekend's events were curated by some of the most respected music voices in each city and featured a line up of promising local Red Bull Sound Select artists opening for headliners including: Dirty Projectors, The Dandy Warhols, Theophilus London, The Gaslight Anthem, Black Lips, Juicy J, Metric, Yeasayer, Erykah Badu (LIVE), Frightened Rabbit, Azealia Banks and The Airborne Toxic Event.

Red Bull Sound Select artists Chance the Rapper, Cherub and Rivals of the Peacemaker are heading to Lollapalooza and will be rewarding passionate fans with tickets to the festival and after parties.

"Red Bull Sound Select Presents" showcases continue monthly in each city featuring new local acts opening for headliners. August shows include Michael Franti, Kilo Kish, Yacht, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Tobacco, Today The Moon, Tomorrow The Sun and more.
