Pete Kosanovich is an Alternative solo artist based around song-writing skills and energetic soulful live performances. Mainly based around the Vocals/ Guitar/ Harmonica/ arrangement he is often best described by fans as a mix of Son House, The Rolling Stones & The Brian Jonestown Massacre rolled into Bob Dylan.
Petar Kosanovic (Pete Kosanovich) was born in Belgrade, Serbia former Yugoslavia. At age of 4 he has learned to play the piano with his father, at age 6 he took up the violin, at age 10 came to England during the 90's conflict in his homeland and moved to the home counties. At the age of 13 he took up bass guitar, at age 15 he self-taught himself guitar and singing & at 17 playing the harmonica. He has since played alongside popular artists, played at venues, festivals around Europe and created label interest from labels such as Rough Trade due to his own strong initiative and self motivation.
On 11th of March 2013 Pete's Debut Album will be released on Big Soul Recordings. The Album was recorded in Acton, London in Single Takes straight onto tape with no overdubs.
March UK Tour dates will be announced soon with 2 London shows confirmed.
