Parakeet Announce New Live Dates Summer 2012

The follow up to the swirling heady sonics of debut single 'Tomorrow', 'Shonen Hearts' is set to be be the second single from Parakeet. An equally frenetic affair, awash with hypnotic vocals, understated pop sensibilities and irresistibly fuzzy guitars, the band comprised of Yuck's Mariko Doi, The History of Apple Pie's James Thomas and newly inducted guitarist Jon Jackson have revealed a stream of the track today.

In addition to their brand new single, Parakeet have revealed a handful of summer shows. Catch them at the following -

June

06 - Hoxton Bar and Kitchen, London (supporting Wavves)

30 - Midi Festival at Le Lieu Unique, Nantes, France

July

24 - White Heat at Madame Jojo's, London

Their debut album is set to drop later this year, more news to follow.
