With his Can U Dance project alongside Jackmaster in full swing and currently in the midst of a hectic summer festival schedule, South London DJ/producer Oneman aka Steve Bishop has somehow found the time to put together Volume 3 of his acclaimed Solitaire mix series. Known for its underground mix of genres and styles, the Solitaire mix series has seen Oneman cement his position as one of the world's most exciting DJs. This time however, he's taking it to the next level - pushing the boundaries of the mixtape concept itself.
Oneman has travelled to the US and Europe, putting together his favourite producers and artists to create brand new exclusive music for the mixtape. Using Red Bull Studios in London, New York, LA, Amsterdam and Paris the result is seven original tracks that will sit alongside his trademark eclectic selection on Solitaire Volume 3. Oneman has been able to take the ideas behind his globe trotting mixing style to become curator as well as selector, joining the dots between different worlds of forward-thinking club music - where else could you hear a collaboration between UK Grime veteran Trim and Internet poster boy Ryan Hemsworth?
Oneman comments: "I'm taking the mixtape idea to the next level with Solitaire 3. By using Red Bull's studios worldwide to create exclusive tracks and set up collaborations that have never been done before, it's an international link up of some of my favourite artists and an honour to have some of my heroes involved."
The mixtape will be released as a free download on Monday 29th September 2014 via his official website Sign up there now to get the mixtape straight to your inbox on 29th September.
