Metz Announced For Mudhoney Spring/summer UK Tour 2013

Canadian power trio METZ have announced that they will be joining one of Sub Pop's earliest signings Mudhoney on tour throughout the UK in June just a few weeks after the announcement of their addition to the Fucked Up and Titus Andronicus tour. With their first release on the label in 1988 to their latest in 2013, Mudhoney remain the flagship band for Sub Pop. Loudly debuting on the label in 2012, METZ will make the perfect accompaniment. The bill is a testament to the label's continued pursuit (and capture) of unique and challenging musicians. These shows will also be a ridiculous amount of fun.
 
To mark this momentous occasion, the band have put up a wonderfully unsettling video for Wasted. The band returned to Scott Cudmore who also directed  METZ's video for Wet Blanket.
 
METZ released their debut, self-titled album at the end of 2012 to much critical acclaim. Their live shows have become somewhat of a highlight, with their tinnitus-inducing wall of sound that attacks every sense of the listener they more than leave a mark on every town and city they play. Marked as 'Ones To Watch' in 2013, METZ are going to make sure they leave their timeless and intense sound ringing in your ears.
